Copy your favourite helmet skin to the desired UH-1H skin directory. The name of the file is the DCS generic original texture: "pilot_UH1_helmet.jpg".

Therefore a simple copy/paste over the helmet texture file (do not forget to backup the original one) should be enought to enjoy your new helmet. Just make sure names for the file coincide.
