This reference guide will provide basic information on the various types of SAMs in DCS. It will cover basics such as system design, concept of operation, and field deployment.

System performance information will be derived from DCS when available and open-source resources when necessary. The described operations concept may not perfectly reflect DCS implementation, such as using specific radars within the battery. Some information is derived from in-game testing and may vary from encounter to encounter.
