In October 2023, The 494th "Panthers" were depolyed fr om RAF lakenheath to a undisclosed loction in southwest asia. during their depolyment the 494th was tasking with striking mutiple high value targets, providing CAS for ground troops, The 494th EFGS painted their 12 F-15E strike eagles with various nose arts, kill marks and names. 01-2002 was named "WARLORD", painted 3 bomb marks as well as a Robot warrior with fire going out of its head. with smoke going out of its chins. Towards the end of their depolyment the 494th was joined by the RAF, RJAF and 335th "CHIEFS" and tasked with shooting down UAS (drones) and cruise missiles send from Iran towards isreal. 01-2002 shot down 0 drones. but toghter the 494th shot down 50+ drones. 01-2002 also got its speedbreak painted wh ere it says "WITNESS THE MIGHT OF THE MACHINE"
In may the 494th EFS & EFGS returned from their 7 month depolyment, after returning 01-2002 had its nose art removed shortly after returning
