This mission was written for the Kiowa, and continues Mission 1 with the HYDRA sci fi backstory. There is air to air action in this one, and 3 choppers ready, 2 Kiowa's and a blackhawk, and plenty of baddies in the target area! Take out the defenses of the new enemy base, and sink the Casanova to deploy ground and sea forces. There is also a Huey that will help you out!

MISSION BRIEFING


Intel we’ve gathered from the last mission sight at Enemy Base Reveille indicates that both pilots from Huey Flight Foxtrot are alive and being held captive. There is no indication of their location, but we discovered older documents that have pinpointed a second target that we had not been aware of – we are now searching a greater area with both drone and satellite capabilities to try to pinpoint any other incursion zones that we do not know about.

The second incursion point is at Echo Bay at grid QA20. This base is further advanced than the base at Reveille, and already has an operating helipad. We are unsure what type of aircraft they have, drone footage is spotty at best. Expect Huey’s, KA50’s and Hinds.

The cargo ship Ivanov is the main target, but your first priority will be getting control of the airspace – try to kill their aircraft on the ground, and then take out any AA.

Additional forces are already underway.

DO NOT engage the Ivanov, but destroy all ancillary naval vessels.

The last target is a cluster of windmills, but we are getting some strange readings from them. If you get a chance, knock them out as well.

There is a selection of two choppers, Outcast 5 and Outcast 4. Outcast 5 is armed with laser guided rockets, Outcast 4 is loaded with AGM-114k’s. Both aircraft are fitted with the Hydra system, so ammo will not be a problem.

There is also an AH64D Apache available; you can change loadouts at the FARP before takeoff if so desired.
