These are missions inspired by Tom Clancy’s Red Storm Rising with audio from the book as part of the missions. These are unpolished and made by a novice but should be functional and enjoyable for any Tom Clancy fan!

There's a Soviet invasion fleet that has left the Kola Peninsula and needs to be located. We fear it is heading to Bodo. If we loose Bodo, we loose what little control of the North Atlantic that we have left. You have been equipped with a reconnaissance pod to better help you to locate and take pictures of the fleet. You'll have a limited weapons loadout to save weight and maximize range. Recon the route along your waypoints and check out any surface ships. Keep yourself safe and get back for a report.
A tanker will take off 30 minutes prior to your departure so you can meet up and top up your tanks. If you are unable to tank, carry on with the mission and recon as far as you can while still being able to make it back to the base.
Use the SEA function of your ground radar and follow the preset waypoints. If you find any ships on radar, you need to get below cloud level to take some pictures. Make sure you are below 10,000 feet and below any cloud as you fly over any ships you find.
Watch your fuel and use the FPAS menu to help manage the best altitude and speed for maximum range. Be warry of engaging any enemy aircraft. If you start using afterburner run into fuel issues. If required, you can call for a tanker on your return flight using the F10 menu.
Ensure your RWR is on and keep your head on a swivel for fighters. We need your Tomcat in one piece to help with CAP for tomorrows strike mission.
Departure Tanker: Call Sign Texaco, 245MHz, Tacan: 24X
On Demand Tanker: Call Sign Shell, 245MHz, Tacan: 23X (request through F10 radio menu)
Home: Waypoint : 10
Hints: If you can top up your fuel tanks from the tanker, you will be able to engage more fighters and still make it back. Full mission scores require making it to Waypoint 9 as well as shooting down at least 1 fighter.
