This is a fictional based campaign set during the 2006 July War historical timeframe on the Syria map and is designed for COOP play.  The campaign can be done solo if you desire.

Tonight's the night. Your recent reconnaissance mission yielded the coordinates of Elsayed's Damascus safe house. We’re sending in Condor to extract him for U.S. custody.  A secure interrogation cell awaits his arrival aboard the Tarawa. Our intelligence and special operations teams are prepared to use every known method to obtain information about the Shadow.

While we expected your reconnaissance of the safe house to be covert, Damascus's SAM radar activity and radio chatter spiked significantly as you departed. Given the urgency of this operation, we've requested Israeli assistance for SEAD/DEAD tonight. Their air force is eager to provide F-16 support and will initiate our evening activities. They'll target Damascus's SAM threats, allowing you to escort Rascal and Condor back to the safe house for Elsayed's extraction.  Their operation is known as Operation Kraken’s Wrath and will commence independently to yours.  They will let you know when they’ve eliminated the SAM threat.
