SAAF Mirage F1AZ in the final camouflage scheme in service. Corrected roughmets.

The Mirage F1AZ was ordered by the SAAF to replace its Mirage 3 fleet. The AZ was specifically developed for the SAAF, with what was at the time, a sophisticated doppler navigation system for low level strike sorties.

The F1AZs were used extensively during the Border War conflict, with good results. 2 aircraft were lost on combat missions, and the F1AZ served in the SAAF as a frontline fighter for 22 years.

Represented here is the F1AZ in its final camouflage scheme. This was by far the most loved of the schemes seen on the F1AZ during its SAAF service.
