In service with the SAAF (South African Air Force) from 1943 to this day.
35 Squadron based at Ysterplaat airfield, Cape Town still operate an up-engine turboprop variant of the C-47 for maritime reconnaissance. Over 80 years of service!

South African Silver Falcon display team C-47 "Gooney Bird" used for logistics, spares & carrying personnel to air shows was painted in matching colour scheme for a short period in 2012, and some times participated in the displays

Look out for my matching Silver Falcons PC-7 Mk II Astra liveries (Using A-29 Super Tucano as stand in)

Acknowledgments
Special thanks to Crazy Eddie for his C-47 liveries, which I have used as a base for some of these liveries.
_Moody_ for his great Silver Falcon wings, which I have blended into these liveries.

INSTALLATION:

Copy folder "C-47" to the DCS Livery folder.
Has 2 locations, in the Game installed location or on Game Saved folder (usually C:/ drive)

Static Version with open Doors
Open Description LUA with text editor (e.g. Notebook) and at the bottom under custom_args =, remove the "--" in front of --[339] & --[421]
Suggest you make a copy of livery folder & rename e.g. SAAF Camo DOORS OPEN
Livery will automatically read new folder name & can distinguish between flying & static (eye candy)
