Flying at FL 25, Shark 4-6 will work closely with JTAC unit Metal 0-1 to locate and neutralize key enemy assets with precision. This mission demands strategic planning, effective coordination, and superior execution.

1. SITUATION
a. Enemy Forces:
Intelligence reports indicate enemy infantry platoon operating in the designated AO. They are equipped with light armored vehicles and small arms. No confirmed anti-air threats; however, MANPADS presence is possible. The enemy is actively engaging friendly ground forces east of the target area.

b. Friendly Forces:
Coalition ground units are holding defensive positions approximately 1 km east of the target grid. JTAC callsign Metal 0-1 is on station providing target coordination and laser designation if required.

c. Mission Purpose:
Conduct a precision JDAM strike to neutralize enemy infantry and light armor elements, preventing further advancement towards friendly positions.

2. EXECUTION

a. Tasking:
Shark 4-6 will check in with JTAC and receive a 9-line brief for Type 3 CAS control. Primary attack method will utilize GPS-guided JDAMs for stand-off engagement. Clearance to engage will be issued upon JTAC confirmation.

b. Target Description:

Target Type: Infantry with light vehicles
Target Location: Grid 37S BU 95324 91607
Elevation: 955 feet ASL
Expected Threats: Small arms, potential MANPADS
Marks: None expected; GPS grid will be primary targeting method

c. Flight Plan:

Ingress: IP Bravo, heading 270, distance 8 NM
Attack Profile: Level bombing from FL 250, release at 8 NM standoff range
Egress: South towards safe corridor, maintaining situational awareness of potential threats

d. Communications & Coordination:

Primary Frequency: UHF 305.00 MHz (JTAC)
Secondary Frequency: VHF 305.00 MHz (Package Net)
ROE: PID required, final clearance from JTAC mandatory
