It's been almost a year since the captured Hind was deployed against the USSR and DRA, it's been moved several times in order to avoid detection as the enemy has made frequent attempts to retrieve it.

It's been almost a year since the captured Hind was deployed against the USSR and DRA, it's been moved several times in order to avoid detection as the enemy has made frequent attempts to retrieve it.  Rumours persist of a fatigued Soviet empire, far too long in the tooth and overstretched in Afghanistan, morale is at an all time low and alcoholism has taken hold of the nation, not just with the proletariat, but also the polit bureau, Gorbachev's anti alcoholism drive has been an abject failure, just like his campaign in the graveyard of empires.  This war may not persist for much longer, but one cannot rest until the enemy has been fully vanquished, and infrastructure must be protected at all costs.

Four rotors have been spotted on a trajectory that will take them to Musa Qal'eh which is alarmingly close to the Kajaki Hydro Power Station, you'll be sent to intercept them to evaluate their possible mission, it is of course entirely possible they are on a recon mission looking for their Hind, either way you'll require a stealthy approach or you'll be dead before you even see them. Head SW fr om Kajaki Sofla to Sangin staying east of the sand dunes then turn north onto the Musa Qal'eh Rud, stay low and move fast, start searching once you get to the river delta and pay attention to any intel updates, the situation is fluid so your mission objectives may change.
