Well.. well well... It has been quite a bit since my last upload. This here is a scheme used by the Kazakh Air Force. This is possibly the single best quality skin for the Su-27 out there. More detail in the full description on the full post. (its worth a read)
While my last upload was a RuAF Su-27 based on the Su-35S, this here is an actual scheme used by the Kazakh Air Force.
Pretty much every exterior texture is changed on this Su-27 (except the chute, pylons, etc)
I have worked on this for a while, but thought that it wasn't good enough without custom normalmaps and reworked RoughMets.
I had some help with the normals, such as from a friend who generated a seamless noise texture for the surface bumps, aswell as from Sahar3ok, who remade them pretty much from scratch.
Then there was the Decals.
As you may know the warning labels and such are normally an unreadable mess from back in 2013. Even though ED has the new 4k stencils, and even though i have been asking about those for over a year now. They seemingly are too busy or too incompetent (i honestly dont know) to release a new paintkit in 4k. Given that the current one is in 2k and also dates back to 2013, its pretty much useless.
Luckily Sahar3ok has also made his own 4k stencils, which he gave to me after I helped him with his own skins.
Here is a link to his userfile section. I helped with skin Roughmets and Engines.

After I had gotten those and finished a commission i had going, I decided to finish the skin and upload it.
here is a full feature list of what you get with the skin:
-Fully reworked exterior textures in 4k.
-Fully reworked RoughMets in 4k (reflections and such)
-Fully remade Normalmaps in 4k. (the bumps you can see on the surface of the place) (thanks to Sahar3ok and my friend Mia/MP_V)
-Fully reworked engine textures, including RoughMets, Normalmaps, and afterburners.
-Customized R-77s
-Custom canopy glass
-Fully remade Stencils (thanks to Sahar3ok)
-and more:
additionally I have added overspray to the colors.
Basically, when you paint camos on a plane IRL, you sometimes overpaint the edges to make sure you dont have gaps between the colors. This however leads to the paint in that spot to be a bit thicker, making it more matte.
Normally you would paint dark colors first, and then paint bright colors on top, but the kazakh air force did it the other way around.
In the IRL picture you can see how the white bleeds through the blue on the spine, aswell as everywhere else two colors meet.
I think i managed to recreate this effect quite well, but i would like to know what youu think of it by leaving a comment below the post.
I am pretty sure this is the single highest quality Flanker skin out there. ED im up for hire if you are willing. I think this here shows I can deliver, so hit me up and lets talk, the state of most Su-27 liveries (and the J-11A in total) is a incomplete mess and I CAN and WANT to fix it.
