Operation Steel Hammer is based on an actual mission flown in Afghanistan in 2008. This mission asks the pilot to fly top cover for a coalition vehicle convoy to resupply the hydroelectric dam at Kajaki. On this mission you will be challenged to provide extreme close air support in order to get the convoy through to the dam. It’s designed to be flown as either helicopter or jet pilot and either single or multiplayer. This mission will test your skills as a pilot and will require you utilize your targeting pod skills and sensor skills to the max. Over 65 triggers with radio voice overs and actual sounds from real jets and helicopters make this mission deeply immersive. Fly as a Kiowa OH-58, AH-64, A-10C, AV-8, F-4, F-14, F-15E, F-16, or F/A-18 pilot. Kiowa pilots can even drop red smoke on targets and then watch as A-10’s take out the targets.
