Operation Provide Comfort and Provide Comfort II were military operations initiated by the United States and other Coalition nations of the Persian Gulf War, starting in April 1991, to defend Kurdish refugees fleeing their homes in northern Iraq in the aftermath of the Gulf War, and to deliver humanitarian aid to them. The campaign against The Syrian Islamic Confederation is now entering a critical phase, with NATO preparing to initiate a strategic air campaign. The goal is to weaken SIC’s ability to resist a subsequent ground invasion, focusing on their air defense systems, air force infrastructure, weapons of mass destruction facilities, and mobile missile launchers.

This campaign is inspired by U.S. operations in Syria during the Syrian Civil War. It features 12 missions, offering diverse challenges with a primary focus on ground attacks, reflecting the real-world emphasis of U.S. airstrikes during this conflict. While none of the missions are recreations of actual events, they are inspired by real-life airstrikes.
