AV-8B Night Attack V/STOL
This mission is a Falklands War 1982 sandbox, where Argentina has fully established the occupation of the Falkland Islands. British forces are at pre landing / early landings stage of operations. Ships and ground units are roughly in correct historical positions around the battle zone. It has an analogous layout, including unit types and names, obviously limited by the map and assets currently available in DCS World.
Most major combatant units are represented for both sides (so far as DCS can allow) such as ships helicopters, planes, ground units, AA, SAMs, vehicles and missiles. The layout of the Falkland Islands is portrayed using the east coast of Crimea and the Taman Peninsula of Russia, the Kerch Strait therefore plays the role of the Falkland Sound which is the sea divide between the east and west Falklands islands. Basic way-points take client aircraft to the key objective airfields only, as the area of operations is small.

This is the second mission in a series. US forces have taken the airfield at Boulder, but an insurgent Counterattack from the North is imminent. 2 separate flights are tasked to stop the counterattack, and eliminate the AAA threat in adjacent Boulder City. This is a night mission, and starts with the option of making a difficult night tank/AAR. Supports 1-8 players.

It is a modern Falklands War 2 conflict simulation, wh ere Argentina has succeeded in occupying the Falkland Islands and now, two weeks later, the British are ready to try to take them back! Set in mid-November 2009 (Falklands springtime), it has an analogous layout, including unit types, names and armaments for the period. Obviously this is limited by the map and assets currently available in DCS World. The layout of the Falkland Islands is portrayed using the east coast of Crimea and the Taman Peninsula of Russia, the Kerch Strait therefore plays the role of the Falkland Sound which is the sea divide between the east and west Falklands islands.

I initially made this mission to have fun with random ground targets that are different each time you play the mission (they appear in different locations). After a viewer request, I'm sharing this mission I used in a live broadcast on Youtube. My viewer liked the base I built for it at Rene Mouawad. It is mainly for multiplayer, but works well as a training tool in singleplayer. Flyable planes include F/A-18Cs, AV-8Bs, SU-25s, F-5Es and there are dynamic spawns for other planes as well. The mission has a carrier, AWACS, refueller.
