Canadair Sabre Mk.6 #383 of 1 Squadron, South Africa, circa early 1970s.

1 Squadron operated the Canadair Sabre Mk.6 as a front line fighter until they were replaced by the Mirage III in 1976. The Canadair Sabre continued to serve the SAAF in the advanced training role until 1980.

NOTES:

This skin is "semi-historical" - the Sabre 6's in service with the SAAF had leading edge slats.

This skin uses a mix of English and Afrikaans servicing stencils which will be updated as I get more information. Apologies for any Afrikaans spelling or grammatical errors :)

The SAAF is not represented in DCS World. Select USA as your country to use this skin.

Unzip the zipped file and then place "SAAF CAMO Esk 1" folder into your DCS World\CoreMods\aircraft\F-86\Liveries\F-86F Sabre folder.

Note - you may have to create both the Liveries and F-86F Sabre folders first.
