Polska zakupiła pierwsze An-26 już w 1972, a wycofała je w 2009 roku. Wszystkie An-26 Polskich Sił Powietrznych latały w Krakowie Balice (EPKK). W latach 1986 - 1996 PLL LOT wyczarterowały od wojska 3 ''Antki'' (nazywano tak wszystkie samoloty Antonowa w Polsce)

Poland purchased the first An-26s in 1972 and retired them in 2009. All An-26s of the Polish Air Force flew in Kraków Balice (EPKK). In the years 1986 - 1996, LOT Polish Airlines chartered 3 "Antki" from the army (all Antonov planes in Poland were called that)
