Afghanistan insurgent scenario

This is a sandbox hub and spoke "clear-the-zone" scenario for ALL DCS aircraft modules in the Afghanistan map. Best for 1 to 10 players in multiplayer or as single player running as a server (to activate Dynamic spawns).


Based at Herat, you will be alerted of insurgent presence via the F10 map. Insurgents will randomly occupy villages and the zones will turn red when they are present.  There are no air threats. The threats are small calibre, 12.7mm and 23mm kinetic only.

I've made no specific slots for aircraft, but if you launch the mission as a multiplayer server from the mission editor, you can use any aircraft against varied compositions in 14 different locations around the city, so the mission will play differently, every time.

The initial patrols will deploy 2minutes after the start of the mission, but additional insurgents will embark from their base in the city. Finding these convoys before they capture objectives is challenging.

There are no end goals or conditions.

You can add traditional slots and other scripts as you prefer.
This scenario is written in MOOSE and uses strategic zones ( https://flightcontrol-master.github.io/MOOSE_DOCS_DEVELOP/Documentation/Ops.Chief.html##(CHIEF).AddStrategicZone ) that the CHIEF class will use to dynamically attack and conquer with its insurgent assets.
Try not to peek at the Brigade headquarters location. Peeking with ruin things ;) If you prefer, move it away, and adjust the spawning zone to suit.
You can move the main capture zones around and even add more capture zones as long as they have the exact words "New Trigger" in the zone name.
The missions that launch at start, two of them use :SetTeleport(true), these take some time to launch and arrive mission, so beware, that if you make many, they take time to launch.
Linked to above, if you want to make lots of teleported missions, beware that the zones are started late because for some reason the detection of units doesnt work well if the zone is made ontop of stationary units. No idea why.

When the Chinook, cargo and stuff arrives, this mission will also work really well with CTLD style transport - dropping troops into the combat zones will be a great alternative to shooting at the insurgents.
