Eight years after the supposed end of the conflict with the independent territories of South Ossetia and Abkhazia, the Georgian government reignites tensions with an indirect declaration of war.
Russian support troops are mobilized in the allied territories of South Ossetia, awaiting an armed response to the hostilities.
Operation Shaorskoye begins with an attack on the enemy camp in the city of Haritsvala, where troops and munitions have been accumulating over the past few weeks.
