تُعد ميراج 2000-9 أحدث وأرقى تطور لعائلة الميراج 2000، وتم تطويرها خصيصاً لسلاح الجو الإماراتي (UAEAF). وهي مبنية على منصة الميراج 2000-5، وتتميز بتصميم متعدد المهام بالكامل، قادر على تنفيذ مهام التفوق الجوي، والهجوم الأرضي، والاستطلاع باستخدام أحدث التقنيات.

تتضمن أسطول طائرات ميراج 2000-9 الإماراتي عدة نسخ متخصصة:
- ميراج 2000-9EAD (مقاتلة متعددة المهام بمقعد واحد)
- ميراج 2000-9DAD (مقاتلة هجومية بمقعدين وقابلة للقتال)
- ميراج 2000RAD (نسخة الاستطلاع)
- ميراج 2000SAD (نسخة التدريب المتقدم والدعم القتالي الثانوي)

- تقليل البصمة الرادارية (RCS)
- دمج أنظمة تسليح حديثة، بما في ذلك صواريخ MICA، وقنابل موجهة بالليزر، وحواضن استهداف متطورة

في لعبة DCS World، سيقدم تعديل الميراج 2000-9 للاعبين مزيجاً فريداً بين قتال الدلتا الكلاسيكي باستخدام الجناح المثلث والتقنيات الحديثة والمرونة متعددة المهام، ليمنح تجربة عالية الدقة لمحاكاة سلاح الجو الإماراتي.

يتضمن هذا التعديل:
- حاضن داموقليس للاستهداف (من تصميم Split Air)
- طلاء الطائرة الخاص بسلاح الجو الإماراتي (من تصميم YOYO)
- إضافة صواريخ MICA بنسختي IR و RF
- تقليل البصمة الرادارية (RCS)
-تمت إضافة حاضن ACMI
- أداء أعلى مقارنةً بميراج 2000C العادية
