Your crew chief had already start your engine. Get in, strap in, warm up and take off with your F4U-1 "Corsair" : Land-based F4U-1 from VMF-222 or Carrier-based F4U-1 from VF-17. Others F4U-1s are in the air and on the ground, making the single player environment more dynamic.  You're free to follow them on their missions (few threats), you can also fly freely.  Please let me know if you have any suggestions or improvements. VF-17 : Practice T/O and landings from a CV (then re-slot and try again!)


Some land-based F4U-1s will stay at Charon Kanoa, engines running.

A flight of F4U-1s will provide a low level CAP around Saipan before going back to the CV (no threats)
