fictional background: following the acquisition of the two Mistral class carriers the Egyptian Air Force claimed interest in a STOL aircraft capable of operating from the newly acquired carriers. initially expressing interest in the F-35B, however following the US refusal to sell the aircraft due to the EAF buying and operating multiple russian aircraft the EAF settled on second-hand harriers from the Royal Navy and The USMC.
