Harrier Tank Attack. - A quick mission to get people started on the Germany Cold War map.

Our worst fears have come to pass. One of the East German commanders has gone mad, taken the families of his tank crews, and forced his men  to smash through the wall and storm into the west. And they are headed right here!

We are the first and only defence on the way to Hannover. We must stop them before the first wave gets a foothold here at Braunschweig. There are several groups of 3 or 4 armoured vehicles that have broken through. One group smashed through the checkpoint, others have just smashed the Wall's defenses using their main guns and anti-mine equipment. Smoke plumes will show you where they have made these breaches and the general direction each group will be coming from. It is expected they will keep to the roads for speed so as to get to our airfield as quickly as possible, and to avoid kicking up dust plumes.  

It is only about 14 miles from the Wall to here. ETA is about 35mins. You don't have long....

It is hoped we will get intelligence from the local population as to the location of these enemy units as they approach so keep a look out in the comms menu for that intelligence. The IR flir markers in the HUD of the Harrier are likely to be of invaluable assistance.

We understand there will be collateral damage. It is expected and cannot be helped, this incursion must be stopped.....
