Meine Damen and Herren, may I present: The mighty Transall C-160 transport aircraft of the German Bundesluftwaffe. Okay, it's not a real Transall, but an An-26 painted as such, in high visibility Norm 72 colors of LTG 62 in Wunstorf.

Okay, it's not a real Transall, but an An-26 painted as such, in high visibility Norm 72 colors of LTG 62 in Wunstorf. I had the choice to either paint a Hercules or the An-26 in those colors - I know the C-130 is closer to the Transall performance- and sizewise, but the overall look of the An-26 is quite close too, being a two-engine plane as well. Anyway, have fun populating the Cold War Germany Map with it - as a stand-in until we get a real C-160.
