In the last 48 hours Tehran has been responding to an Israeli aerial bombardment. With little help coming from Russia, and with few military or diplomatic options to resist Israeli aggression, Iran is desperate to coerce the international community to respond to its plight. To do this, it intends on raising oil prices by attacking oil interests in the Strait of Hormuz thereby forcing the international community to broker a peace deal on their behalf to stabilize oil prices.

As part of a multinational taskforce known as "Sentinel" you've been enjoying your USN deployment to the UAE, flying daily sorties in the sun and playing volleyball on the beaches in the evenings. All of a sudden, however, you and your hodge-podge taskforce - little more than a dozen combat crews between the US Navy and Air Force, RAF, UAE, and Kuwait - find yourself on the frontline of an international crisis.

I would appreciate if you play these missions in order and report any bugs ready for the final comapign.

## Background ##
With deployed NATO assets in the Persian Gulf at an all-time low, a US-led, multinational taskforce has been set up in its place to protect  the international shipping lanes of the Strait of Hormuz. More a political statement and deterrent than a combat-ready taskforce, this hodge-podge handful of combat aircraft from the US Navy, Kuwait, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE is known as Taskforce Sentinel.

Flying training and combat sorties daily, tensions have unexpectedly increased over the last 48 hours after Israel launched surprise attacks against Iran's capital city, Tehran. Without the military or diplomatic capability to resist Israel's aggression, Iran in response has threatened to close  the Strait of Hormuz in the hope that it will drive up oil prices and force the international community to broker a peace deal on their behalf. Your day-to-day sorities, unexpectedly, are now putting you on the brink of all-out conflict with Iran as the prospect of them attacking oil interests in the region is now very real.

This campaign will involve decision points, much like a RPG, as well as flying skill to progress the storyline. You'll fly maritime policing missions in US Navy F18s, Combat Air Patrols in F16s, and daring CSAR rescues as Iraqi rotary crews depending on your decisions and mission outcomes. Your decisions dictate in which order you play the missions.

## The Mission ##
Within the last hour the Omani Border Control received a distress call from the Italian-flagged Blue Orion, a tanker, thought to have been targetted due to its business links to Israeli and Jewish businesses. Iran are in the process of seizing the ship.

You are to locate the commercial ship and present a show of force to discourage Iranian forces from completing their mission. The last known position of the ship was 25 miles southeast of Qeshm.

Use your A2G radar and targetting pod to identify the group.
Perform a low-level pass.
If the low-level pass fails, you are authorised to use warning shots.

## ROE ##
You are authorised for warning shots.
You are authorised to engage if a hostile act is committed against you.
You are authorised on targets 15 miles of friendly coastline (territorial waters)
