F-14 Tomcat
Established in 1965, the Head Hunters were an F-4J squadron before finally converting to the F-14 in 1978. For the next forty years VF-228 Would hop between RAG and various Fleet assignments. They would participate in nearly every armed conflict in that time, until their twilight years.
With their final assignment in 2017 with the announcement of Oseas newest Super Carrier Admiral Anderson, VF-228 Became the sole fighter unit assigned to the 28th Carrier Air Wing. The Headhunters would support the carrier on its ill fated maiden voyage until the final week of the war. During this time, the Carrier ran aground and the order to abandon Ship was issued. Despite protests from the CAG, the 228 had to abandon their Tomcats in the hangar and sat out the final days of the war Ashore with the rest of the Anderson's skeleton crew.
The choice was made after the war to finally sundown the Headhunters along with the eventual termination of all F-14 units within the Osean Maritime Defense Force

Taktisches Luftwaffengeschwader 74 (74th Tactical Air Force Wing), formerly known as Jagdgeschwader 74 (JG 74) (74th Fighter Wing), is an aviation unit of the German Air Force, based on Neuburg Air Base in Bavaria since 1961. On 1 October 2013, the unit was renamed in the course of adaptations to the new structure of the German Air Force.[1]
JG 74 provides air defence duties for southern Germany. The wing operates two squadrons of Mirage 2000C, the Falken (Falcons) squadron and the Viva Zapata squadron.

The 24 Tactical Air Support Squadron was activated on 2 March 2018 at Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada. It was the USAF's Forward Air Controller – Airborne schoolhouse for the Lockheed Martin F-16 Fighting Falcon as well as supporting the joint terminal attack controller qualification course and Weapons School.[9]
The squadron was inactivated during a ceremony at Nellis on 23 December 2020.[10]

AH-64D
The 285th Aviation Regiment is a parent aviation regiment of the United States Army. On 1 October 2005 the unit was redesignated as the 1st Battalion (Attack Reconnaissance), 285th Aviation Regiment and on 1 May 2006 it was mobilized to conduct the AH-64D Unit Fielding Training Plan and deploy in support of Operation Enduring Freedom VIII. In April 2012 and August 2013 the unit deployed its Companies A and B in support of Operation Enduring Freedom XII and XIII. On 4 August 2018 the unit was retired from service after a "casing of colors" ceremony.

The 161st Air Refueling Wing (161 ARW) is a unit of the Arizona Air National Guard, stationed at Goldwater Air National Guard Base, Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, Arizona.
