F-14
VF-14 "Snakes", was established in 1955 flying the F4U Corsair within Air Wing 34, a notably ground based formation of aircraft. In 1958, the squadron would fly the F3A before receiving the F-4B Phantom in 1965. In 1972, VF-14 Would join VF-616 "Gargoyles" in flying the F-14A Tomcat with Carrier Air Wing 14 aboard the OFS Heron deploying the first time to WESTPAC 1976 Along with the Gargoyles.
In 1987, both VF-14 and the Gargoyles would be upgraded to the F-14B, and transferred from the Heron to the OFS Crane. During the Belkan War, the Snakes would deploy to Ustio, supporting allied forces in the region with ground-strikes provided by the F-14Bs upgraded LANTRIN abilities, Proving vital during operations in the mountainous regions of southern Belka.
With the turn of the Century, the Snakes and Gargoyle would go their separate ways, with VF-14 assigned to Carrier Air Wing 23 aboard the OFS Barbet with Gargoyle being assigned to the IUN-Peace Keeping Force in Usea.
In 1987, both VF-14 and the Gargoyles would be upgraded to the F-14B, and transferred from the Heron to the OFS Crane. Royal Air Force Stoney Cross or more simply RAF Stoney Cross is a former Royal Air Force station in the New Forest, Hampshire, England. The airfield is located approximately 4 miles (6.4 km) northwest of Lyndhurst and 12 miles (19 km) west of Southampton.

Located in the Eure, in the Normandy region, the Bernay - Saint-Martin aerodrome is now used for leisure and tourism activities through light aviation, helicopters and model aircraft.
Created in 1935, the site was subsequently used for the training of Air Force pilots during World War II

After the liberation of the area by Allied Forces in 1944, engineers of the Ninth Air Force IX Engineering Command began construction of a combat Advanced Landing Ground outside of the town. Declared operational on 2 August, the airfield was designated as "A-16", it was used by the 36th Fighter Group which flew P-47 Thunderbolts until late August when the unit moved into Central France.
