Tensions with Lebanon have reached a breaking point after a rocket attack on Northern Israel yesterday.

Based in Central Usea, the Skorpion’s can trace a lineage back to the great Patriotic War where it earned the Guards title. As one of the first to receive License Built F-14’s from Estovakia, they became synonymous with the aircraft type in the Yuktobanian Zeitgeist, though their service would largely be ceremonial in nature.
The Squadron wouldn’t see active combat until 2010 in the Circum-Pacific war against the Oseans. As the invasion force neared towards Cinigrad, the Skorpions were called up to defend against Osean Bomber raids, successfully downing dozens of OADF aircraft. The Unit however, would end up being a casualty of the war, as in the final days, the OADF launched a strike-package to destroy the Skorpions aircraft and airfield. Though many of the crews survived the raid, the Yuktobanian Air Force chose to retire the squadron shortly thereafter and transfer personnel elsewhere, leaving the 948th as a memory.
