AV-8B Night Attack V/STOL
It's 10 weeks into the Falklands War, and two British Harriers find themselves protecting damaged ships. Suddenly, Argentine Skyhawks appear on the horizon and a fight ensues.
While unloading on 8 June, the British ships were attacked by two waves of A-4 Skyhawks from the Argentine Air Force's 5th Air Brigade, each of them loaded with three 500 lb retarding tail bombs. At approximately 14:00 local time the ships RFA Sir Tristram and RFA Sir Galahad were badly damaged.
At 16:50 a second wave, composed by four A-4Bs of Grupo 5 hit and sank a Landing Craft Utility from HMS Fearless. Sea Harrier combat air patrol was already on scene and responded; three Skyhawks were shot down and their pilots killed, The fourth aircraft suffered combat damage and lost a large amount of fuel, but returned to the mainland assisted by a KC-130 tanker.

SAR campaign on Cape horn to find and evacuate damaged tourist ship. Argentina and Chile will compete for news headlines. No battle action. A-4E-C mod required (it's free). Argentina has Mi-8, MB-339, L-39, Yak-52, A-4E-C. Chile has UH-1H, C-101CC, L-39, Yak-52, F-5E. Aircraft counts are limited to +1 extra (in case of technical issues), so do not crash. Adjust your pre-flight check to freezing temperatures, snow, strong wind, south latitude and magnetic deviations of up to 15 degrees. Russian locale is the default one, English locale should kick in if you are using English version. 9 ship spawn points.

Mosquito FB VI
The Banff Strike Wing sent Mosquito raids along the Norway coast to attack ships carrying iron ore to Germany for armor production, U-boats making their way north to sub pens in occupied Norway and German troop ships and landing craft carrying men and equipment to Germany to reinforce its attempt to block the approaching Allies ground forces.

A pretty heavy open sandbox training mission on the South Atlantic map. There are no threats.
Modules Required - Supercarrier, (any of the modules you want to train in of course :D )
6 Ranges to choose from, Sheffield, Ardent, Antelope, Coventry, Conveyor and Galahad for Ground Attack, Air to Air, Anti Ship, HARM / Radar and Runway busting.
A rescue mission scenario activated via the radio menu.
"Ambient Spawns" - I don't like being the only one taking off so I've added AI that spawn when you do around the base and on the carrier.
A large carrier battlegroup with busy (but still functional) Carrier decks, including the Supercarrier GW, HMS Invincible and Tarawa.
Airbase populated with Statics and ambient units.
Tankers and AWACS available.
Smoke on targets and Air to Air "drones" available via the Radi

SA342 Gazelle
After the recent release of the upd ated Gazelle, I started to re-learn it after many years of having her on my virtual hangar. I tried first the built-in training but found the cold start mission really basic and incomplete, so rather than complain about it I se t to edit my own and take the oportunity to also learn the Gazelle's basic systems in detail.
I made three versions of the mission: one for Sinai, another for South Atlantic and a third for the free Map of Marianas. They are identical and only differ on some little details. I added them to the existing training menu, and this means that the files go onto the DCS program folder. If you are uneasy about this, you can manually save the files at /Saved Games/ to run as standard missions instead of using the DCS Training Menu.
