It is April 1st, 1944. The Axis advance circumventing the caucuses has been successful and a font has been established North/South along Kashuri. Axis forces are being supplied from the eastern russian front into Tbilisi. A bombing mission has been scheduled to shut down the main Tbilisi airfield to slow Axis ability to resupply their war effort.

The Oilfields of Goryachiy Klyuch are a critical supply point for Allied forces. The Axis wishes to remove this lifeline from the Allied airbase supply reserves.
The air battle will be fierce as the Axis deploys 3 x T-55 from the SouthWest to destroy the Allied defenses among the oil pumps. 3 x Axis convoys are converging on Goryachiy behind the T-55 to begin removal and destruction of the reserves upon the defeat of Allied defenses.
T-55 are expected to arrive at 13:30 PM with convoys scheduled to arrive just before 14:00 PM

Operation Bodenplatte (Baseplate), launched on 1 January 1945, was an attempt by the Luftwaffe to cripple Allied air forces in the Low Countries during the Second World War.
The goal of Bodenplatte was to gain air superiority during the stagnant stage of the Battle of the Bulge so that the German Army and Waffen-SS forces could resume their advance. The operation was planned for 16 December 1944, but was delayed repeatedly due to bad weather until New Year’s Day, the first day that happened to be suitable.

Operation Rheinübung ("Rhine Exercise") was the sortie into the Atlantic by the new German battleship Bismarck and heavy cruiser Prinz Eugen on 18–27 May 1941, during World War II. This operation to block Allied shipping to the United Kingdom culminated with the sinking of Bismarck.
Germany’s naval leadership (under Admiral Erich Johann Albert Raeder) at the time firmly believed that defeat by blockade was achievable. However, they also believed that the primary method to achieve this objective was to use traditional commerce raiding tactics, founded upon surface combatants (cruisers, battle-cruisers, fast battleships) that were only supported by, submarines. Regardless of the method or manner, Raeder convinced the High Command (OKW) and Hitler that if this lifeline were severed, Britain would be defeated, regardless of any other factors.
