On 15 October 1973 the IAF sent a mixed force of F-4s and A-4s to shut down a major MiG-17 base close to the Suez Canal. The mission was a preparation raid (although that part was highly classified) for the crossing of the Suez by Israeli tanks the following day.

Formed in early 1995, the 46th Air Force Unit ‘Silver Eagles’ was a unit in the Ustain 6th Air Division. Being primarily a mercenary unit, Pilots in the 46th AFU were from across the globe, including Useans, Veruseans, Aneans, and many from the surrounding Osean continent.
While not nearly as impactful as other more famous 6th AD units, the 46th AFU was instrumental in support of smaller operations to liberate Ustio, and in furthering the push into Belka proper. The unit would be responsible for many air to air victories, especially in the infamous Area B7R.
Due to combat losses and manpower drains following the nuclear attacks of 6 June 1995, the unit was disbanded, and its remaining personnel reassigned to reinforce other units in the 6th Air Division.

The communications ship, **S.S. Layton**, has been disabled and drifted into foreign waters.
A rescue mission begins within the hour, and your job is to provide air support. There are MiGs in the area, and tensions are high.
These aren’t just any MiGs. Intel has confirmed they’re flying the MiG-28, a jet we barely know anything about. It’s fast, agile, and armed with Exocet anti-ship missiles capable of striking from 100 miles away. We don’t know what else they’ve got or how they’ll engage—so expect the unexpected.
They’ve been spotted to the west and are closing in *hot*. Hollywood and Iceman are already in the air.
This is the real deal. Everything you’ve trained for comes down to this.
