A-10C II Tank Killer
Unguided munitions on the A-10C II benefit from setting up the ambient wind and temperature, so that the fire control computer can calculate the pertinent corrections as the round falls through the different height layers and its differents wind and temperature values. This calculator aids in getting the correct format with the different corrections, so it will be easier and faster to input them on the A-10C II.
Just copy the values as shown in the "Mission Briefing", fill in the blue fields in the calculator, and use the red fields result for setting up the A-10C wind correction.
1- Input the blue values from Mission Briefing
2- Sel ect the map fr om the dropdown
3- Red values are the computed results
4- CDU: SYS/LASTE/WIND
4- Input the five lines "ALT" in Left LSK
5- CDU: WNDEDIT
6- Input the "BRG+SPD" appended in Left LSK
7- Input the "TMP" in Right LSK

Giving you a heads up of where famous landmarks are located. In Mission Editor you can plan & plot your missions around them in this awesome map & obviously fly any AC you wish & of course change title. Sentimental Journey was originally manufactured and delivered to the U.S. Army Air Forces for war service in 1944 where she flew missions in the Pacific Theatre. After the war she flew for training, testing and at-sea rescue missions and was eventually sold for surplus and used as a fire bomber. In 1978 the aircraft was purchased by a Commemorative Air Force (CAF) member and donated to the newly formed Arizona unit of the world-famous CAF. She was meticulously restored and is today maintained in tip-top condition and operated by all-volunteer crews from the membership of CAF Airbase Arizona.

That's the "402", one of the 28 f-4E's that HAF received from USAF in 1991 according to Southern Regional Agreement (SRA).They were painted with Hill Gray II and delivered to 338 SQN ''Aris" of 117CW. Its distinctive feature is the 402 number on a red background on the nose wheel door and 6 killmarks on the left intake.
