The missions in this mission pack are used to train aspects of the Viggen. They are not tutorials, but more like drill exercises.<br /><br /><br />
The idea is to spend as little time as possible on aspects not related to the training objective. For this reason most missions start in mid air.<br /><br /><br />
Since weapon employment in the Viggen usually requires some kind of preparation you will be put at a convenient distance from the target area.<br />

New in 1.10: Added navigation missions to practice with time on target, ingress speed and waypoint boundaries.

2 days ago the town of Zomleti located 7nm SE of FARP Hollywood was invaded by a group of armed insurgents from an unknown organization. Our Intel has spotted about 20-25 armed insurgents along with a couple of light armored APC units. Today we are going to retake Zomleti. We are going to fly in 18 ground troops (Team Echo) via CH47D which will split off into two groups when on the ground. A Team and B Team. EagleOne will provide CAS for the ground troops.

A loose recreation of the RAAF F/A-18A Hornet A21-27 which has been specially painted for the 100th anniversary of 3 Squadron. Included is a clean and weathered version<br /><br />

The scheme represents 3SQN 2nd highest ACE, Wing Commander Robert “Bobby” Gibbes. <br /><br />
The aircraft code CV-V was used on different type aircraft but its best known on the P-40E Kittyhawk (desert Scheme) used by Bobby.
Updated to include correct titles in description file.
