The Arty Spotter Script was inspired by the use of helicopters as airborne artillery spotters. In DCS (SP) we often identify targets, but we have to engage them ourselves, as the AI wingman will only attack predefined targets.
The intention of the script is to give the (single) player a tool, with which he can identify targets on any map, at any location and have them destroyed.
The script is independent from unit names or any AI assets at all, to provide easy accessibility for everyone. It will work for helicopters and jets with TPODs alike, even with aircraft that rely on Mk I eyeballs.
No AI artillery needs to be placed on the map, thus no worrying about minimum and maximum ranges.
No Mist or Moose required, works with any map and any aircraft.

A U.S Delta Force team has been ambushed while attempting to perform a sabatage operation on a Serbian moutain base used as a supply depot. Friendlies are pinned to the north and are under heavy small arms fire.
A friendly AV8B is in the air to assist as an AFACt. He has spotted at least one manpad and one URAL with SPAA capabiliites.
Your mission is:
1.) Provide CAS
2.) Destroy the command center
3.) Destroy the supply depot
4.) Destroy the enemy barracks
All objectives tagged for destruction are located near the command center.

The frontline is stabilized and our Air Force mission is now to destroy iranian industrial sites, to reduce Islamic Republic of Iran Air Force strength and to attack the enemy troops all along and back to the frontline.

The frontline is stabilized and the enemy is now trying to destroy our industrial sites and to terrorized our population bombing our cities. The mission of Islamic Republic of Iran Air Force is to stop enemy bombers, to attack the Irakian troops all along and back to the frontline and to respond with air raids on Irakian cities to their terror bombings.
