Basic training practice, starting cold at Nellis, with an active airfield running the course of the mission. Nothing spectacular, but it gives a more realistic airfield feel as opposed to an empty airfield with just you taking off for practice.
I am slowly updating this map. I would like it to eventually have some JTAC setup, as well as civilian airfields operating with civilian aircraft, watch this space.

This is a MkIX but is wearing the livery of the Spitfire MkVIII flown by F/O Norm Turnbull of No. 79 Squadron RAAF out of Morotai in April of 1945. The MkVIII was meant to supercede the MkV unit but the MkIX was pushed into production as an interim, believe it or not.
For this reason I would describe it as 'semi-historical' technically.
I've also {almost) mastered my customary 'dirty' style that's been with me for years so I hope you like it, it still doesn't mean you can scratch the paint though!!
