This is a mod of @Cypher1o1 mod
it makes the torpedoes run straight and actually hit their targets (providing those ship have hulls, so do not have a hull in DCS)
Aphrodite always gets her man
Others are impervious to damage
the torpedoes also run at their actual speed 52knots instead of 19 knots
meaning they will actually catch their target and it wont take all day
sub shoots 6 torpedoes, i know why but i am not interested in changing it right now
You will need to install this in you DCS directory of you real game file
this is an update
i am only able to get this to work in ver 2.7
drill down in your dcs real game folder
dcs world ---->>>coremods----->>>aircraft----->chinaAssetPack----->entries------->tech (extract all 3 files here) you will need to overwrite 2 files
you will be able to find the 688 sub in you US ships
target works best from the beam
it will also shoot missiles from under water in auto weapons mode from the ADVANCED WAYPOINT MENU

This is continuation of my pursuit for more authentic visual experience, closer to what one expects my observing the surrounding with a naked eye. However, there are two major changes with this Reshade profile.
First, this one is made to work best with a color profile for your color management, as presented in the uploaded screenshot. This should make it much "lighter" on overall performance, as Reshade does less of the heavy lifting. I think i managed to drop the FPS performance hit on my machine, from 3-4 FPS to 1-2 FPS.
Second, this is a more all around solution. That is, while the previous preset, was more extreme and punchy, it also didn't work as well in more exotic lighting conditions, such as twilight or storms. No amount of tweaking could make the end result what i wanted to be under all conditions. So for this iteration, i went for a more mild adjustment, but one that works equally well under all conditions tested.
Third. this presets works with DCS gamma setting of 2.8

Grey CF-14Eh Tomcats. Updated 06/18/2023, added VR pilot textures.
After costly engine upgrades from GE Canada, and early 90s budget cuts, the RCAF was left with no choice but to move most of its squadrons to the CF-18, but concentrated all remaining CF-14 assets to two squadrons to fulfill its NORAD commitments. 441 would cover the Canadian West and 434 would be reponsible for the East.

The group operates mostly like a PMC, and is usually contracted to fill in for weak or poorly equipped air forces, such as in Africa and in the Middle East, and currently also operating in Ukraine to recruit soldiers from both sides.
The origins of the group are unknown, but it's believed that it started in a former soviet airbase in late 1991 as pilots and mechanics found themselves whitout a flag they believed in.
No politics, no flags, only sharks.
