After the fall of the Damascus regime, the insurgents took control of several economic centers, including some important industrial sites. The LAFARGE cement plant is thus part of the war.
The octopus extended its tentacles to Minakh and Kharab for the northernmost part, and Aleppo to the west.
BLUFOR was mandated to operate from its bases in Turkey or from its fleet in the Mediterranean to push back the enemy.

During the Yom Kippur War, the Israeli Air Force used 88 Walleyes with 84 (96%) direct hits destroying 70 tanks/armored vehicles (several bombs claimed multiple vehicles) and 18 bridges.
On 17 October 1973 Israel sent an F-4E squadron north to the port of Latakia to bomb three bridges used to transport Soviet military goods to the Golan Heights. You can fly the STRIKE mission against the bridges, the SEAD attack on the AAA guarding the bridges or the CAP force protecting the attacking squadron. Comments welcome.

OH-58D Kiowa Warrior
Single Player Mission to use OH-58D(R) Kiowa Warrior weapons in a friendly and dynamic environment (read the briefing)
Various training ranges :
- Gun and rockets against statics trucks and BMPs -
- Hellfire and APKWS against statics tanks and BTRs -
- ATAS - Stingers against Mi-8 and F4-E (drones) -
- Dogfight against transports helicopters -
No threats other than the risk of collision* (ground, vehicles or other aircrafts)
I tried to reproduce the target ranges used by AH-64s and OH-58Ds.
Others allied aircrafts are in the air and on the ground, making the single player environment more dynamic.
You're free to follow them on their missions (no threats*), you can also fly freely.
You will have objectives to achieve in order to complete the entire mission.
This is the 1st mission i've posted for DCS.
Please let me know if you have any suggestions or improvements.

This is a simple training mission that I used for practicing Air-to-Ground sorties on Enigma Cold War server. All targets are set to average skill and they will open fire!
There are several zones representing possible scenarios on ECW:
SEAD Zone - consists of Osa SAMs and Shilkas,
Frontline Outposts - consists of Barracks, Shilkas, tanks and some trucks,
Frontline Outposts + Strelas - basically the same as Frontline Outposts but with Strelas (I hate Strelas),
Find the Shilka! - consists of multiple vehicles found on ECW, one of which is Shilka, try to identify it using Mavericks, targeting pods or Mk.I eyeballs and destroy them.
EDIT 1: Added Splash script causing more damage to ground units, similar or same as ECW.
NOTE: You cannot see ground units on map. However, SAM engagement zones are represented by red circles. Other ground units are marked with small orange circle nearby.
Feel free to edit this mission any way you want to meet your needs. I hope you enjoy.

In the 2000s, the Syrians, feeling supported by an increasingly strong Russia, invaded Lebanon again, taking advantage of the relative passivity of Israel. The weak Lebanese forces were quickly swept away and only Beirut still resists. Miraculously, several Western countries then decided to come to the aid of Lebanon to stop the invasion and defend Beirut at all costs.
