Map -Syria
During the Yom Kippur War, the Israeli Air Force used 88 Walleyes with 84 (96%) direct hits destroying 70 tanks/armored vehicles (several bombs claimed multiple vehicles) and 18 bridges.

On 17 October 1973 Israel sent an F-4E squadron north to the port of Latakia to bomb three bridges used to transport Soviet military goods to the Golan Heights. You can fly the STRIKE mission against the bridges, the SEAD attack on the AAA guarding the bridges or the CAP force protecting the attacking squadron. Comments welcome.

Map -Syria
After the initial bombing of Damascus on 9 October 1973, a second F-4E strike group was on its way to Syria.

But they found the cloud cover over their target too heavy to penetrate so they asked for an alternate target. The eight Pantoms were directed to a large Syrian armored column marshalled along the Israeli border in the Golan Heights,

418 RCAF was the highest-scoring Canadian Squadron of World War II. It flew Intruder missions deep into Germany, Poland and Denmark to attack aircraft and airfields hundreds of miles behind the front lines.

Many of these missions involve Wing Commander Russ Bannock.

The Banff Strike Wing sent Mosquito raids along the Norway coast to attack ships carrying iron ore to Germany for armor production, U-boats making their way north to sub pens in occupied Norway and German troop ships and landing craft carrying men and equipment to Germany to reinforce its attempt to block the approaching Allies ground forces.

Formed in the United Kingdom during 1943 as the IX Air Support Command, its primary role was to provide close air support for the U.S. First Army. Re-designated as the IX Tactical Air Command in April 1944, its initial missions included interdicting transportation, disrupting communications and destroying warehouses and supply dumps in occupied France and the Low Countries in preparation for the Normandy Invasion in June. Targets included bridges, road junctions, railroads, airfields, radio towers and telephone exchanges. Engaging enemy aircraft in the air and establishing air superiority was another priority.

After the Normandy landings on 6 June 1944, IX Tactical Air Command Republic P-47 Thunderbolts concentrated on enemy targets in the Cotentin Peninsula area and afterward supported Operation Cobra, the breakout of Normandy. Paying particular attention to German forces in the Falaise-Argentan Gap, targets were expanded to include tanks, vehicles of all types and troop formations.
