With the adoption of the F-16 by the Royal Nordlands Air Force, an agreement would be signed between Osea and the Kingdom for the training of the latters fighter pilots. Initially done with the 410th Fighter Squadron ‘Kickin Ass’ out of Seneca ANG, With the loss of their F-16 mission in 2000, the RNLAF would instead begin work with the Baja Cineloa ANG for F-16 training.
After pilots finish IUN Joint Jet Pilot Training (IJJPT) at Mitchell Air Force Base, They are sent to Southern Osea for six months to finish their syllabus on the F-16. Currently The 148th has eight F-16s on loan from the RNLAF for Training. After their Six month indoctrination into the aircraft, students are sent back to Nordlands for either the 113 ‘Tigers’ or 116 ‘Knights’ Squadrons, making the primary backbone of the RNLAFs Fighter force.
