Die ist die Forsetzung nach der Mission Watchtower. Es ist wieder eine sehr einsteigerfreundliche Mission und an Einsteiger gerichtet.
Nach den Ereignissen von Watchtower führen neue Geheimdienstinformationen zu einem versteckten Rebellenstützpunkt tief in den Bergen des Irak. Von einem improvisierten US-Stützpunkt bei Erbil startest du gemeinsam mit deinem treuen Wingman Klaus, um eine gefährliche Mission durchzuführen: Das Ziel ist Jalal al-Mutashir, der Drahtzieher hinter den Angriffen auf Abu Rudeis.
Sein Aufenthaltsort ist bekannt – ein unscheinbares Haus in einem abgelegenen Dorf. Doch das Ziel ist gut verteidigt: Zwei aktive SAM-Stellungen, SPAAA-Einheiten und feindliche Luftpatrouillen sichern das Gebiet. Du musst tief fliegen, präzise zuschlagen – und dann lebend zurückkommen.

This mission is based on the 29 October 1980 "Sultan 10" operation at the beginning of the Iraq-Iran war. Iranian intelligence has positively identified the presence of newly delivered Mirage F1s based in and around Mosul. 6 F4 Phantoms have been tasked with runway strikes while you - callsign Sultan 7 - has been tasked with escorting them and protecting the tanker which is circling at low level . The tanker is essential; without it, the Phantoms will be unable to RTB. You will provide cover for both the F4s and the tanker, while dodging Iraqi SAM sites.

This is Part 3 of the "Al Taquddum through the ages" 3-part series. It is advised that you play the first two missions, but it isn't essential. This is a single or multiplayer mission, and while it's best enjoyed with friends, it is entirely playable single-player.

In the intervening years between RAF Habbaniya being an RAF base in WW2, and it being bombed by the RAF during Desert Storm, the base had become an Iraqi military installation and chemical weapon storage facility. The airfield was expanded to become what is now known as Al-Taqqudum Air Base, and on the second day of the Iran-Iraq War during Operation Kaman 99 it was targeted as part of a 140-strong Iranian air operation to cripple Iraq's Air Force.
You will play either as F4s attacking the Al-Taqqudum Air Base, F5s attacking the Al-Taqqudum Air Base, or F14s protecting the tankers from Iraqi interceptors.
