Following Israel's successful assassination of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah on 27 September 2024, and Iran's retaliatory missile strike against Israel on 1 October, tensions in the Middle East have never been higher. The region is in chaos, with civilians fleeing Beruit by any means possible, causing local air traffic to be unusually congested.
Iranian Admirals are pragmatic, and understand they are outmatched. As such, they have instructed daily intercept training sorties. You are on one such sortie when your ground-based Early Warning Station becomes victim of a sophisticated cyber attack, a likely precursor to an Israeli attack. Resorting to World-War-2-era lines of communication, you will defend Iran against an Israeli strike package, ensuring you do not endanger an already congested civilian airspace. You will prioritise threats, identify foes, and attempt to force Israeli jets to RTB or jettison their A2G weapons. Flaming Cliffs: F5 and Mig-29. Full fidelity: F4 and F5.

SA342 Gazelle
You need to escort a convoy, callsign Ranger 2-4, from FOB Paris, to our evacuation point on the coast, FARP London. The convoy will depart on your signal and we expect the transit time to be 90 mins. There is a variable enemy presence in the area, so we need to be alert to any possible threats.
Threats include Insurgent vehicles and ambushes, investigating and neutralising potential IEDs, and suppressing any other enemy activity encountered. These are carefully randomised and balanced so that every playthrough is different and challenging.
This mission is designed for two players flying as a “pink team”, with one player in a scout helicopter (White) and the other in a gunship (Red).
The Scout will need to fly such that their observer can closely check out potential threats, hovering or carrying out low passes as needed.
The mission is written for SA-342 Gazelle as Scout, Mi-24P Hind as Gunship and requires the Syria map. The mission can be modified to utilise other helicopters.

CVW-8 Aboard CVN-71 is transiting to the Persian Gulf after a successful combat deployment in the Mediterranean. However, Iran has restarted its seizure of civilian shipping, with the HANDY WIND being boarded earlier this morning. VFA-87 and VF-41 are authorized to engage Iranian surface vessels conducting these seizures. Additionally, there are believed to be two active silkworm sites guarding the strait, one of which has been identified and damaged by USN surface vessels.
CVW-8 Is tasked with destroying static SAM threats guarding the straight of Hormuz, and destroying IRIN vessels in the Strait of Hormuz targeting friendly and neutral shipping.

Vergangene Nacht haben Freiheitskämpfer der Republik Abchasien einen aggressiven Vorstoß über den Fluss Enguri in das Hoheitsgebiet von Georgien gewagt. Unbestätigten Meldungen zufolge wurden dies Freiheitskämpfer von Russland mit Waffensystemen und Munition ausgestattet, was diesen kriegerischen Akt erst ermöglicht hat.
Die Spannungen in dieser Region hatten sich bereits in den vergangen Monaten immer weiter zugespitzt, sodass die NATO bereits einen Trägerverband in das Schwarze Meer entsandt hatte.
Da das georgische Militär momentan nicht in der Lage ist den Vorstoß aufzuhalten, ist das einzige Mittel alle über den Inguri Fluss führenden Brücken unbrauchbar zu machen. Dies gilt ausnahmslos für alle Brücken vom Inguri Dam bis hin zur Flussmündung in das Schwarze Meer bei Anaklia. Dies wird als probates Mittel angesehen die Aggressoren von jeglicher Versorgung abzuschneiden.
