Based on the Iran Campaign template from Jane's F-15, this template tries to replicate the IADS from Jane's F-15, although mostly only in the detailed areas of the Persian Gulf map with SAM sites, AAA-sites, radar sites, Silkworm batteries, and a few ammunition depots, and I added defenses, ammunition depots and a radar base at Jask. Not 100% accurate at the moment, and not every AAA battery and SAM site is replicated.

Updated Version 1.3: Russia has built up an expeditionary Integrated Air Defense System (IADS) in Syria. Russia intends to use this IADS to push the potential cost of continued US coalition involvement in Syria past the threshold of acceptable risk. On 03 OCT the Russian military deployed the S-300 (NATO reporting name: SA-23) air defence system to the Syrian naval base in Tartus. Russian forces already operate the S-400 (NATO reporting name SA-21 Growler) long-range air defence system, which has a claimed range of 400km, as well as the S-200 (SA-5 Gammon), in Syria. Russia also operates a number of short-range air defence systems, including the Pantsir-S1 and Buk missile systems, as well as the naval version of the S-300 a Slava-class guided missile cruiser in the Mediterranean. In addition to the IADS, Syrian forces operate the Bastion coastal defence system out of Tartus.

An upgraded .miz mission file for the Persian Gulf that combines the following maps: Persian Gulf Oil Rigs Static Template by Minsky, Persian Gulf SAM, EWR, and Strategic Infrastructure (V 0.99.2) Map by P. Arnold, and Realistic Persian Gulf Map - Easy by static_actual. ALL UPDATES LISTED IN SCREENSHOTS. MASSIVLEY updated all three original maps into one. Includes hundreds of strategic infrastructural, military, WMD, and air defense targets for Iran, Oman, the UAE, and Saudi Arabia cohesively. Now provides thousands of static targets for nearly every strategic site included on the entire map. Accounts for theoretical wartime placements to ensure an equal spread/distribution of strategic assets in an actual “shooting war scenario”. SAM sites were placed according to research, accuracy, and theoretical placements, and include both detailed and undetailed map areas. 130+ oil rigs accurately mapped and place with the help of MarineTraffic, Infield, ArcGIS, etc, and hidden by default.
