The Two-week War README

This is a pack of 14 single player missions for the F-14B Tomcat, set in the Persian Gulf in February of 2005, depicting a fictional conflict with Iran. Given the available units in DCS, the makeup of the various naval groups and the air wing is also entirely fictional, with no correlation to ships and squadrons actively deployed to the Gulf during that real-life timeframe.
The missions commence as the CSG is preparing to transit the Strait of Hormuz and begin a regular deployment. The first five missions are relatively uneventful, and useful as training scenarios. Starting around Mission 6 is where the shooting really begins. The player will experience A/A and A/G combat, along with day and night CV operations, along with a couple of opportunities to relish the scenery on the PG map. The action starts off light, then builds in intensity. The final mission is a large-scale battle that may tax your system, depending on specs.

Strike package will fight their way to the AO and destroy the targets.
ENFIELD FLIGHT (2 x F-14B) is to clear the airspace of hostile fighters and take up TARCAP east of the target until the strike package is clear.
Strike package (COLT FLIGHT - 2 x F/A-18C) will attack the objective. SEAD element (CHEVY FLIGHT- 2 x F/A-18C) will suppress SA-6 SAMs in the area.
AWACs and tanker support is available.

I have modified a mission originally developed by Werewolf to include a JTAC who will lase the target for LGB attack by request using the F10 menu item. The revised mission also includes some additional voice messages and random events. No mods are needed.
Heavy losses inflicted by allied air power have enabled ground forces to advance within the provinces of FARS and BANDAR ABBAS and start operations in the province of KERMAN. HUMINT sources confirm location of CCC bunker on south side of Kerman. You will lead flight of 2 F/A-18C to destroy a command bunker. Expect robust anti-air defenses. Bunker reported as location of weekly general staff meeting at 0700.

Fight your way to the target and destroy it with Mk-84 bombs to accomplish your mission.
A second element of Hornets is tasked to strike the nearby POL facility. Bringing up the rear is a flight of Hornet’s with AGM-88 HARMs to suppress SA-6 SAMs in the area.

Ingress to target as briefed - push from WP2 at 1745L, maintain formation with your flight lead to the AO.
Destroy the SOC at waypoint 4, ref briefing images.

CSG3 Ops has prepared multi-group mission, package code name Grumpy, to destroy the refinery, code named Disneyland, near Khonj, Iran. Group of 4 x A-10C will execute the attack with Chevy 1 (F-16 x 2) tasked with SEAD support. JTAC support (Magic) is available.
Player will lead flight of 4 F/A-18C departing USS Stennis to Join A-10C's, Boar 3 x2 and Boar 4 x2, at WP2 near Kish Island and escort to Khonj refinery and return. Boar will fly NOE to WP2 to avoid detection by Iranian IADS. When ready to push, advise Boar (by F10 menu) and escort Boar to/from Disneyland. At WP3 orbit until target area cleared green by SEAD Chevy 1. If Chevy 1 fails to clear air defenses, order package to continue or abort, using F10 menu, as threat dictates.

It's believed that Iran is producing large amounts of plutonium-240, as would be contained in reactor-grade plutonium, can cause a weapon to detonate early and "fizzle," causing a smaller explosion than intended. However, even a weapon that fizzles would cause an explosion roughly equivalent to 1,000 tons (1 kiloton) of TNT. A weapon of this size could kill tens of thousands of people if detonated in a city, which clearly demonstrates that even reactor-grade plutonium would present a potent danger in the hands of terrorists. Iran has the power to make an unstable Middle East even worse.
