F-5E Tiger
Texture for the old F-5E Tiger II cockpit. ( not for remastered )
This download can, after unzipping/unpacking, be placed in Saved games.
To place them in saved games, go to : .../users/[computer name]/saved games/DCS.openbeta .
In the folder DCS.openbeta make a folder Liveries, then in the folder Liveries make a folder Cockpit_F-5E, and place this download in there.
Then in DCS, go to options (settings), select the SPECIAL tab, select the F-5E and in customized Cockpit select F-5E TIGER II pit V1.2.

Updated version with MiG-29S cockpit for version DCS 1.5.x. (FC3 is needed for this mod). Additional work by Rokie007 of ED Forums. @Many thanks to sukhoi25 for starting this idea. Even if F-5E will be officially released this is still lot of fun:-)
Added MiG-29 cockpit in F-5E cockpit position (though there are some issue with sun reflexion), added view config, functional MiG avionics (Radar, EOS) for AIM-9, guns... working radio FC3, added complete liveries for USA, added countries Turkey, Norway, Israel..., added some loadouts.
Remark: if you don't have Modman, simply put F-5E3 dir in the 'DCS/Mods/aircraft' dir.

*M39 Sound Mod for F-5E by Schmidtfire
Replaces the original F-5E (interior) M39 20mm cannon sounds with a new version.
My version adds a more powerful "kick" and a good solid rpm when shooting the cannons.
Volume is also a fair bit louder than the original sounds.
To install. Unzip and put the Sound folder in: /Saved games/DCS.openbeta/

Established at Heirelark Air Force Base, the 531st Fighter Training Squadron "Gamblers" is one of the final steps a student pilot must take before they can be considered for further fighter pilot training within the OADF. Not everyone who passes through the gates will succeed, but thanks to the training provided by the men and women of the 531st, those pilots who do pass are some of the best prepared for the trials that come with being a fighter pilot.
Flying the F-5E, pilots learn the basics of BFM, all the way to simulated BVR engagements and complex ACM war games fought against nearby MiG Aggressor Squadrons.
Its a gamble to become a fighter pilot, but for those of the 531st, its one they gladly make every day.
