P-51D Mustang
This a group of missions to quickly practice dogfights against AI WWII units. The missions are all the same, there is just one for most of the maps.
At any time enemy planes can be spawned, up to 24 of various types (FW-190A, FW-190D, BF-109K, JU-88A) and skills. By default they will spawn 3 miles ahead of the player at the same altitude and same speed. They will fly towards the player to engage. The type and skill of the enemy to be spawned can be selected via the F10 menu. The F10 menu also contains settings to change the distance from the player, the direction from the player, the height difference between the spawned AI and the player, and the speed difference between the spawned AI and the player when the AI is spawned.

OH-58D Kiowa Warrior
Take on the role of an OH-58D pilot over Afghanistan before and during "Operation Moshtarak", part of a larger operation called "Enduring Freedom"! This is a single player campaign, payware quality but for free. You need the Polychop Simulation module - OH-58D "Kiowa Warrior", as well as a map of Afghanistan for DCS (the whole map or the western-south part).
Note (important!): before starting the campaign, be sure to read the whole manual (DOC folder). There you will find a historical background, important notes, tips and FAQs. To complete the set you also need to download the dedicated my skin for the OH-58D.

The former Soviet Union marched into Afghanistan on Christmas Eve, 1979, claiming it was invited by the new Afghan communist leader, Babrak Karmal, and setting the country on a path of 40 years of seemingly endless wars and conflict. After the Soviets left in humiliation, America was the next great power to wade in. Following the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, the U.S. invaded to oust the Taliban regime, which had harbored Al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden.
After nearly 20 years, the U.S. is ending its war in Afghanistan, withdrawing the last American troops.
Left behind is the U.S.-allied government, riven by corruption and divisions, which must fend off advancing Taliban insurgents amid stalled peace talks. Many Afghans fear the next chapter will see their country plunge into chaos and inter-factional fighting among warlords.

FOB Thunder, located approximately 17 nautical miles southwest of Jalalabad, has been cut off from its resupply lines after an ambushed convoy was completely destroyed. The base is now critically low on essential supplies, including ammunition, medical equipment, and rations. Without immediate replenishment, operational effectiveness will be severely compromised.
With ground routes compromised, air resupply is the only viable option. Your task is to deliver five cargo pallets (approximately 10,000 lbs) to FOB Thunder using a CH-47F Chinook departing from Kabul Airfield.
In addition to the supply crisis, six wounded personnel at FOB Thunder require urgent medical evacuation to Kabul. Given the extent of their injuries, time is of the essence.
