Welcome to the Nevada Test and Training Range Night Operations. Intelligence indicates that Iranian forces are actively attempting to enforce an illegal blockade of the Persian Gulf. The Iranian Air Force and Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corp (IRGC) Navy are mobilizing from bases along the Iranian coast. Their intent is to intercept any vessels entering or exiting the Gulf. Task Force Hammer (CVN-73 George Washington and LHA-1 Tarawa) is currently escorting civilian vessels as they depart the Persian Gulf from Kuwait. Ensure the freedom of navigation through the Strait of Hormuz and eliminate any hostile Iranian forces attempting to enforce the blockade.
