Hey awesome Pilots, get your pad & pencils ready to take down some MGRS coordinates. Among some other tasks, your a mobile SAM killer & only have your Patrol to guide you to the Target area. With a AAR this should take you no more than an hour & I would difficulty rate this around 7/10. I hope you enjoy :o)
NOT FAR FROM DAMASCUS OUR JTAC UNIT "AXEMAN" HAS REPORTED AN ENEMY BUILD UP OF ARMOUR & MORE SERIOUSLY A SUBSTANTIAL NUMBER OF AIR DEFENCE UNITS. THE SAMS ID ARE.. ONE STATIONARY OSA SA-8 UNIT, A MOBILE SA-15 TOR ON PATROL MANEUVERS & ALSO THREE SAMS EMBEDDED WITHIN A SEVEN ARMOURED COLUMN PATROLLING THE AREA. THE SAMS IN THE COLUMN ARE A ZEUS SHILKA, A SA-13 STRELA & ALSO A SA-19 TUNGUSKA & THEY ARE ALL CAUSING HAVOC FOR OUR AC IN THE AREA. WE ALSO HAVE REPORTS FROM OUR SECOND PATROL UNIT "DARKNIGHT" OF A BUILDING THAT'S BEEN CONVERTED INTO A SMALL "IED" MAKING FACILITY. Fist of all be kind with me this is my first mission upload...I hope you enjoy it and help me with bugs/improvements.
Simple mission with both A-G and easy A-A. In this mission you are asked to use JDAM, AGM 65F Maverick and Sparrow/Sidewinder missiles.
Easy and fast with no air enemies and no SAM engaging. In my mind this should be the first of a short of 3-4 mission with increasing difficulty.
All is set in a fictional war/time.
You can change loadout (even if limited by airport warehouse) but I suggest you not to so you can for follow the story of this "want-to-be" a short campaign
To play this mission you will need F/A-18C module and Persian Gulf.

THERE'S A SENSE OF ELECTRICITY MIXED WITH TREPIDATION HANGING IN THE AIR. WE ALL KNOW THE SITUATION IS TENSE & VOLATILE. THE ISLANDS HAVE RECENTLY BEEN DIVIDED & WE ARE KEEPING A CLOSE WATCH FOR ANY ACTIVITY THAT MAY WARRANT ACTION. IT NOW LOOKS LIKE THAT ACTION HAS ARRIVED.. WHETHER WE WANTED IT OR NOT. AWACS "MAGIC" HAS SPOTTED A SMALL GROUP OF VESSELS CONSISTING OF A LARGE ARMED LOADING DOCK ALONG WITH OTHER SMALLER ARMED BOATS ANCHORED OFF THE ISLAND OF SAIPAN.

An hour ago, you were unceremoniously woken from the first decent sleep you've had in a month.
"Battlestations. All crew report to Battlestations. This is not a drill."
As you bolt out of bed, the XO pops in.
"Get ready. You're going up."
"What the hell's going on? An attack?"
"The Ticonderoga's been hit. Not sure by what. Either a mine or torpedo."
"Torpedo?! Holy hell."
"Yeah, it's bad. We've got Seahawks dropping sonobuoys all over the place looking for the bastard but nothing yet. I want you in the air on stand-by. If we find any subs, you'll be the one to hit'em."
"Gotcha. Ready in 3."
