Ruwayshid Airbase, located along the Jordanian border, remains one of Iraq’s last operational airfields. While the coalition has established near-total air superiority, this airbase still represents a potential threat and must be neutralized. Due to the high cost of precision-guided munitions and cruise missiles, command has tasked you and your wingman with executing a conventional strike using BLU-107 Durandal anti-runway bombs to disable the airfield.
A flight of AH-64 Apaches has recently eliminated the SA-3 site that was the primary air defense for the base. However, intelligence reports indicate that AAA emplacements remain active, and there is an unaccounted-for SA-6 mobile SAM system somewhere in the area. Be prepared for potential air defense threats during ingress and egress.

Fifty years after the RAF had defended RAF Habbaniya, what would become modern-day Al Taqqadum Air Base, they returned. This time, it was to attack the very base they fought for. Running at low-level, RAF Tornado GR1s denied the two runways at Al Taqqadum, surrounded by SAMs and AAA fire.
You'll re-enact this mission, using a fictional RAF F-15 to simulate the Tornado. You'll approach a AAA-lit Al Taqqadum, deny its two runways, and engage a pair of Interceptors.

This is Part 3 of the "Al Taquddum through the ages" 3-part series. It is advised that you play the first two missions, but it isn't essential. This is a single or multiplayer mission, and while it's best enjoyed with friends, it is entirely playable single-player.

The airfield was expanded to become what is now known as Al-Taqqudum Air Base, and on the second day of the Iran-Iraq War during Operation Kaman 99 it was targeted as part of a 140-strong Iranian air operation to cripple Iraq's Air Force.
You will play either as F4s attacking the Al-Taqqudum Air Base, F5s attacking the Al-Taqqudum Air Base, or F14s protecting the tankers from Iraqi interceptors.

It starts out as an Air-to-Air battle while 3 Airbases are bombed by B-1B lancers. After that you need to take out 2 MANPADs and then you can obliterate as many planes as you can at Novorossiysk.
