France's participation in Desert Storm was called "Operation Daguet (French for Brocket Deer). The French were responsible for the left flank as Coalition Forces worked their way into Kuwait to drive the Iraqi invaders out of the country. Along with Mirage 2000C France supplied transport aircraft refueling planes ground attack aircraft as well as Army and Navy personnel and other materiel. Even after Desert Storm ended France continued to participate in activities in the region. Readme file included. The repaint done by Rafal from www.yoyosims.pl. Tested in DCS 2.0.1 and 1.5.2.

Update from 27.02.16: v3.- fixed of default paintkit for M2000C of Matel2Mesh (Warning arrow, now lines are smooth), added more weathering and dirties effects. 18.11.2017 - update for v4, April 2018 update for DCS 2.5 + current Mirage version, v.5 - 18 May 2018 - missing Eclair pod texture + helmet RoughMet file. Multiplayer ready to fly or template mission of the opening air strike, 17 Jan 1991, when Operation Desert Shield became Operation Desert Storm. Fly as Task Force Normandy, the group of 8 AH-64's that followed Pavelow's into Iraq to eliminate an early warning radar site and open the corridor for coalition aircraft; or fly as a SEAD package as an F-15C, F15E, or F-16 to suppress H3 airfields air defenses for the ATO of F-18's during the day campaign. Perhaps even choose to fly F-18's or F-14's off the supercarrier to suppress a SAM site north of H3 to open the way for SCUD hunting. F-14's set and ready to deploy decoys, just as A-6's did in real life. Be prepared to air tank and spend hours to make 1 pass make the difference of history as we know, or failure as a whole.

Complete 220+ mile mission distance or 1 hour mission on Syria map. Playable solo but designed to play with up to 16 friends. Night flight following Pavelow helos into Iraq to take out 2 early warning radar sites. Not your normal run and gun fun fast paced mission however more designed to be similar to the real deal. Lots of flying low and in night vision for roughly 5 minutes of shooting. The mission can be tailored however you like if you want to make changes to it. There is no complete trigger or points. If both sites are wiped out the coalition forces will fly overhead upon exfil.
