Trouble to the East... A group of insurgents have taken it upon themselves to heist the airspace around the town of Shemona. One insurrectionary group has been gifted two honking SHILKAS by some Irani friends, and we need these dealt with ASAP.
So here's the score... You're to go in with hail and brimstone, wipe out those hard assets, then deliver death, d-boys and democracy until all you can hear over in Shemona is crickets.
You will have gunships, transporters and CTLD at your disposal.
Go get em.

Authorities are quickly informed and a ground based rescue team as well as an Apache helicopter (“Splitter”) are scrambled for a rescue operation.

Un groupe de terroristes islamiques vient de prendre le contrôle de l’église Notre Dame du Liban, qui se trouve au Nord de Beyrouth. Nous devons à tout prix éviter la destruction de ce lieu hautement symbolique. L’attaque ayant eu lieu de nuit, le risque d’avoir des civils dans la zone est limité.
Le gouvernement libanais a demandé de l’aide à l’OTAN pour appuyer la contre-offensive de ces forces spéciales. Le LHA USS Tarawa étant actuellement le navire de l’organisation le plus proche, le commandement a décidé de déployer ces hélicoptères d’attaques AH-64D.

A radical Islamic Terrorist Organization known as 'IRF' has occupied a valley near the Turkish/Syrian border.
They've setup a checkpoint, stormed surrounding villages and locked down the largest town in the valley, Armanāz, with heavy defenses.
They have taken control over the region and are setting up a weapons and arms turnaround point in town, presumably in order to push further towards the Turkish/Syrian border.
US ground troops have successfully advanced into the occupied villages, but they are unable to advance into the main town. They have requested Close Air Support.
The situation is tense, as it is unknown just how heavily the insurgents are armed.

The missions are building up in difficulty, with a main focus on atmosphere. Although not required, knowing how to operate the CP/G seat, will definitely improve the experience (each mission briefing will contain a few notes on what the player will need to know for that specific mission).
I'd say, overall difficulty is easy to medium and the missions should be suitable for newcomers (albeit as I created it myself (sirrah), I obviously know where to look and what to do).
This campaign contains:
- Mission specific kneeboards
- Mission specific briefing images
- Partially automated comms
- Day and night OPS
- Mission scoring (although very easy on newcomers)
- 4 SP/MP missions
(no mods required)
