Made this for my Dad, who was the CMSgt of the 309th a while back. If you look up pictures and see it with the custom leather, nose, hud, seat, engine, intake covers and the chrome gun port which they put on during air shows. He had those made so I added the chrome gun port cover on this one as well. I know it is not the correct block that the 309th flys but decided to do it anyway. I tried to clean it up a little being a squadron jet but not too clean. I didn't get a screenshot of it but if you look at it from external, I also added a squadron sticker on the panel cover on near the front of the cockpit but can only be seen from outside as I have yet to figure out how to custom make interior view textures that will pass IC. So this will be good to go as long as you put into your saved games folder. Enjoy

The 148th Fighter Squadron (FS), part of the Arizona Air National Guard's 162nd Wing, is based at Tucson Air National Guard Base. The 162nd Tactical Fighter Group (162 TFG) is a unit of the Arizona Air National Guard, stationed at Morris Air National Guard Base, Arizona. The primary mission of the 162nd TFG is education and flight training of international F-4E Phantom II aircrews. In addition, the wing performs air defense and homeland protection of the United States. As part of Tactical Air Command, the 162nd TFTG's mission was producing combat-ready pilots for the F-100 aircraft. The 152nd TFTS equipped with the F-100C Super Sabre, and the group graduated their first students in 1970. Shortly afterward, the unit formed the Air National Guard Fighter Weapons School in Tucson.
In 1977, the group received F-4E Phantom II fighter aircraft and replaced the F-100s. The unit received its second Air Force Outstanding Unit Award for successfully continuing to train F-100 students while completing the most challenging conversion in the unit's history. That tasking was to convert from F-100s to F-4E.

The 285th Aviation Regiment is a parent aviation regiment of the United States Army. On 1 October 2005 the unit was redesignated as the 1st Battalion (Attack Reconnaissance), 285th Aviation Regiment and on 1 May 2006 it was mobilized to conduct the AH-64D Unit Fielding Training Plan and deploy in support of Operation Enduring Freedom VIII. In April 2012 and August 2013 the unit deployed its Companies A and B in support of Operation Enduring Freedom XII and XIII. On 4 August 2018 the unit was retired from service after a "casing of colors" ceremony.
